What the price actually buys
One purchase, all your devices
Deftest is one app across Mac, iPhone and iPad, and purchases belong to your Apple ID, not to a device. Buy on the phone, open the Mac: you're in. A new device just needs Restore Purchases once.
If a subscription ends
Deftest becomes read-only — never locked. Everything you recorded stays visible, searchable and exportable, including the full backup. Subscribe again and your books are writable exactly where you left them. A missed payment should never hold your business history hostage; here it can't.
Trials, cancellations, refunds
All purchases run through Apple. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. A trial not cancelled before day 14 becomes the paid subscription — Apple sends a reminder first. Refunds are Apple's decision, at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer never sees your payment details — only Apple does.
Why isn't it free?
Because you're the customer, not the product. No ads, no data to monetize, no investors to satisfy — the price is the entire business model, and it's what keeps the privacy promise structurally true. An independent app, sustained directly by the people who use it.
